NEW: Add-on set prevents limescale! Read all about the supplement set

When a jar is mounted around the electrolysis unit and the yellow light comes on, this normally means that you need to refill or replace lime-free water. If you see that there is limescale on the cell core (often when no jar has been installed around the electrolysis unit), the following may be the cause.

For systems without the container introduced in July 2024, the following applies:
If you see that there is limescale on the cell core, see "Cleaning tips" for descaling.

In areas with hard to very hard water, such as Southern Europe, it may be necessary to check for limescale every 3 to 4 days!
Our advice: If you are away for a few hours to do shopping or something else, place the Tank-O3 fresh water system firmly in a bottle of cleaning vinegar. When you return, the system will be 100% clean again. Make it a habit to do this at a fixed time to prevent limescale problems! Or order the above-mentioned jar at Order.

The yellow light can also come on if the electrolysis unit has been descaled (too) late. The lime can then accumulate under the cell nucleus. The accumulated lime becomes extremely hard and then crushes the clamps that hold the cell core, or worse: the top at the top of the electrolysis unit becomes damaged or breaks off, resulting in a necessary repair* or replacement of the most expensive part, the electrolysis unit. unit! See photos 2 and 3 below.
Despite the placement of a new cell core, the yellow LED remains on. The risk is therefore minimized through regular inspection. This prevents a repair* or expensive replacement of the entire electrolysis unit with cell core. Prevention is better than replacement!

* Repair means that you send the electrolysis unit to us, preferably with UPS in a letterbox package with Track & Trace number! We then replace the pin. To ensure that everything functions properly, we install a new cell core and supply an "anti-limescale" jar for FREE.
The repair costs are € 10.00 + a new cell core at € 39.95 + a FREE jar (worth € 12.95) + € 15.00 shipping costs (€ 10,00 in the Netherlands), so a total of € 64.95 .
